Norbert M.K. Lemke

Norbert M.K. Lemke is an aerospace engineer with more than three decades professional experience in space industry. Since 2016 he was defining and maintaining the Quantum overall program strategy for one of the three European large system integrators.
Together with a counterpart from French space industry, he shaped the idea and definition of ESA’s planned “Institutional QKD” as a European infrastructure effort, to eventually become “SAGA” (Security And cryptoGrAphic mission), the space-based component of the QKD service of the European “Infrastructure for Resilience, Interconnectivity and Security by Satellite” IRIS². In the EC/ESA harmonization group for the agency’s three SAGA studies and the Commission’s two EuroQCI studies, he was one of the two leading industry members.
He is co-founder of the German quantum industry alliance DIVQSec and was the first elected speaker.
Norbert now heads the business development activities at qssys and will use his experience to boost the company’s progress across all areas.
